STEM Days
Allows PreK - 8th grade scholars to rotate through a series of engaging, hands-on learning stations that cover key areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Guided by our trained conductors, each station provides an opportunity for scholars to explore concepts creatively and actively, fostering curiosity and critical thinking skills.

Principal
Dr. Pittman and her team from STEAM XPRESS have served my students at East Flora Elementary School for two years. Each year, they provide "steam day" for my prekindergarten through fifth grade students. They plan amazing activities that keep my students engaged throughout the event. From making snow, to driving cars that they built, our students learn about all the aspects of S.T.E.A.M. I'm so thankful to Dr. Pittman and her team for the vision of STEAM XPRESS and bringing it to life for our students!

All Aboard the STEAM XPRESS CURRICULUM
The All Aboard the STEAM XPRESS curriculum integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) concepts into unique hands-on applied learning experiences using the 10 learning modules below. These modules are designed to introduce children to STEAM-related concepts while helping children construct the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed for learning through project based investigations.
Space and Earth
Space and Earth explores Earth's layers, oceans, continents, the sun and moon, and the universe.
Plants and Animals
Plants and Animals explore living and nonliving things, lifecycles (animals and plants), and habitats.
Agriculture
Agriculture explores types of soil, farming and farm life, horticulture, and aquaculture.
All About Weather
All about Weather investigates the seasons, the sun and the moon in relation to weather, weather patterns and so much more.
Chain Reactions
Chain Reactions use scientific inquiry to explore acids and bases, mixtures, and how physical properties of materials change and evolve.

Creative Minds explore the five disciplines of art (music, dance, theatre, media, and visual) and the role arts play in innovation.

Money Matters explore mathematics by incorporating financial literacy concepts.
